Bible Concordance: Index of Old Testament passages

A concordance is a reference tool that lists words, phrases, or—in this case—Bible verses found in a document or collection of documents. Concordances are helpful in studying the Bible and other literary works. Two key aspects of a concordance are:

  1. Biblical order: The Bible verses are listed in the order in which they appear in the Bible. Thus, verses from Genesis are listed first, while those from Malachi are listed last.
  2. References: Each entry includes links to pages where the verse appears. This allows you to locate uses of a Scripture verse throughout this website.

What verses from the Old Testament are used on this world-missions-oriented website?

"Don't for a minute let this Book of the Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night." — Joshua 1:8, The Message

"I had never thought of the extensive material on the global mandate in Scripture. From God's promise to Abraham, God's sending of Jonah, to the words of Jesus in Acts 1, and the words and mission of the Apostle Paul, it was clear that I had missed the message." — Paul C., Nazarene Bible College student
